BOTTOM LINE: No - I would not recommend this to a friend
just okay

dress definitely runs large but i purchased on final sale. fabric is nice but it hangs extremely heavy and isn't well-enough constructed to really "do" anything. i think i'll end up belting it to help it from being so shapeless but overall it's just not doing what i had hoped.

i’m so disappointed in this dress! the way the bust is sewn is SO uneven and bumpy and causes the fabric to bulge out on one side, giving an awkward boob-fin of fabric on one side. beyond that, the dress is far larger than the size guide suggests. i’m beyond let down, especially as this was a final-sale item.
