She is undoubtedly stunning, but there is an ease to her that's even more alluring - in the way she dresses and how she expresses herself. A self-proclaimed drifter, student and sometimes model, she lives in South Florida but also calls Cebu in the Philippines her home. With just a glance, she leaves you feeling light and calm, grounded even - all qualities that inspire new possibilities. As the season turns to summer, we take comfort in shedding layers and embracing our femininity, individuality, and remembering to take the time to unplug a little - to drift.

Take a peek inside the life of our lovely Gah Girl of the moment, Sandra Diola. Enjoy!

LSG: WHAT ARE YOU STUDYING, AND WHAT LED YOU HERE?

I’m majoring in Public Relations. When I first graduated high school, I took some time and went to the Philippines for a while. I didn’t know what I wanted to do and chose PR on a whim. I’m glad I did. It’s opening up so many doors that I didn’t know possible. Looking back to that time, I was just very adrift. I’m still like that sometimes. I learned that it’s okay not to know what you want to do. When you decide, take the leap, and always take opportunities that come your way. They are blessings.

LSG: DREAM JOB?

Oh, so many different things. I think what’s most important to me is being around creative and genuine people. I’d love to be able to travel for a job. But right now, I probably want to do in-house PR for a company. I want to be a part of creating something. And later in life, I think I want to do something with kids, maybe teach.

LSG: DO YOU HAVE A MORNING ROUTINE?

Breakfast is usually the first thing on my mind and preparing it puts me in a good mood. I like to put on a record and drink coffee and talk to my dad. Sometimes I sit in my bed a little while longer. I’ll flip through magazines, or read something to feel inspired for the day. It usually varies.

LSG: A MAGAZINE YOU'LL READ COVER TO COVER?

I’ve been really into Kennedy Magazine and Disposable. Purple Fashion will always be a favorite.

LSG: FAVORITE TV SERIES?

Hmm, I’m going to have to say the Twilight Zone and Gilmore Girls.

LSG: A DISH YOU ALWAYS ORDER?

When I can, pancakes. At brunch, my best friend and I always like to split. One of us gets something with eggs while the other gets pancakes. I start with the pancakes, then we switch, so we both get savory and sweet. It’s the ultimate brunch hack.

LSG: WHEN DO YOU UNPLUG?

When I’m watching my baby nephew and before I go to bed. I’m trying more and more to be unplugged. It helps me clear my mind.

LSG: BEAUTY ROUTINE?

My morning and night routine are pretty much the same. I either wash my face with VERSO facial cleanser or Glossier milky jelly. I put on vitamin C serum all over my face, then CeraVe moisturizer. Before bed, I’ll put on Khiel’s creamy eye treatment, and it makes my under eyes feel so nice and moisturized in the morning. I also can’t forget my retainer!

My makeup is simple. Currently, I’m using Glossier’s stretch concealer and boy brow. Then I’ll dab RMS eye polish in lunar on my eyes and also use it as a highlighter on my cheekbones. A bit of blush, mascara, lipstick, and some spritzes of Mario Badescu’s facial spray and I’m good.

LSG: CURRENT MUSIC MOOD?

I’ve been really into Rihanna’s new album, Bill Evans, Lust for Youth, Julia Holter, and whatever records I find in the sale jazz bin. There’s this artist, David Vassalotti from my hometown and his new album, “Broken Rope” is really good. Sufjan Stevens is a forever favorite. I’m also rediscovering The Cure. I’ve listened to them since I was a kid because of my dad. It’s my version of dad-rock, although my boyfriend doesn’t agree.

LSG: FIRST FASHION MEMORY?

In middle school, my best friend and I made DIY skinny jeans out of our old flares. They always ended up too tight. It was pretty awful.

LSG: MOST USED EMOJI?

It’s the red heart. I know, corny, but I can’t help it.

LSG: BEST PIECE OF ADVICE?

Work hard and stay grounded, be moved easily by people, sights, interactions, and remember the happiness little kids feel when they run. Leave people feeling light.

LSG: WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN NOT HANGING OUT WITH LSG?

I’m usually studying like a madman, watching films at home, or catching Snapchats of my little sister being silly. She’s the funniest person I know.

LSG: DESCRIBE A PROUD MOMENT.

Probably when I did my first presentation with Mansur Gavriel. It was so surreal and still is.

LSG: BEST RECENT DISCOVERY?

Silky socks.

LSG: WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THE LSG OUTFITS YOU ARE WEARING?

I love how effortless they are. My favorite is the LoQ sandals. They have such a good shape, and the knotted strap is very cool. The dresses make me feel like taking a nice nap in the sun. Also, I think I want to live in all the bathing suits in the summer.
