Our muse of the week is the New York-based writer Fariha Róisín. A total babe and a force to be reckoned with, Fariha’s strength and confidence is refreshing and overpowering in the best way. Fariha uses her social media platforms as an extension of her voice and uses her perspective as a modern Muslim woman to tackle topics like Islamophobia, diversity in fashion, and body standards. Our muse of the week is a journalist and the ultimate Parisian, Valérie Tribes. Based in Paris, Valérie is the former fashion editor of the french publication Oh My Mag and is currently a freelance journalist and she even recently launched the podcast, Chiffon. The podcast encourages its guests to talk about fashion, consumption, our relationship to clothes, our indulgences and obsessions. The podcast is in French (le sigh!). Even so, it's evident from her feed that she's the go-to gal for everything Parisian from her personal style which is oh so cool, beauty or shall we say natural beauty because as we all know the french are effortless. More recently, with her partner Albert Esteve, she created, Curated B, a community for worldwide brands that are exceeding in quality and branding. The duo is focused on promoting sustainable, slow-fashion practices, an important mission in today's abundance in hyper-consumption. Our muse of the week is 23-year-old Toronto-bred now New York City-based artist, photographer, and filmmaker, Petra Collins. Petra, a former ballet dancer, was forced to give up her first love of dancing due to an injury which was, in turn, the impetus to her now successful career. As early as her teens, she began exhibiting her photos in New York, and magazines like ViceI-D, and Purple picked up her work. We admire her ethereal 70’s aesthetic, a common theme in her craft and appearance, and her ability to use her platform to showcase real stories by women for women through the female perspective. Marianna has a background in architecture but is more concerned with creative direction, styling and the conception and development of content, which is what drives her to pursue her passion of visual creation. Our muse of the week is the 27-year-old Aussie who is currently an LA-based actress, Hayley Magnus. She is best known for her roles in Mental 2012, The Dressmaker 2015 and Lichen 2012. Hayley has always found being an actress appealing because it's a way to be anything or anyone; it is about exploring the psychological motivation behind how people live and how they justify their choices and build their way of thinking. We love Hayley’s witty and unfiltered approach to her Instagram, which is a direct reflection of her personality and her mentality of not taking life too seriously so you can enjoy every minute of it. Our muse of the week 24-year-old Brooklyn-based associate market editor at Racked, Tanisha Pina. Tanisha has worked for some of the biggest names in the fashion industry such as Conde Nast, Teen Vogue, Vanity Fair and Paper Magazine. Post college graduation, she took a full-time internship with Paper Magazine, while also working as a hostess at a restaurant. Fast forward to her following job with Vanity Fair as the Accessories Assistant, to Teen Vogue as the Assistant to the Fashion Director, and now Associate Market Editor at Racked. Tanisha is truly unstoppable, and we look forward to following her on her journey to the top!

A champion of healthy home cooking, Gwen is now the creator and publisher of Brown Rice Magazine, making holistic food appealing and relevant for the modern person!
